Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026. End Busywork (“we,” “I,” “me”) is run by Jared Mortenson. This policy describes how we handle information when you use endbusywork.com and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to provide:

  • Newsletter and signups: Email address, and optionally your name, when you subscribe to the weekly tips newsletter, request the Self Audit Workbook, download the Data Pitfalls guide, or sign up for other content.
  • Contact and inquiry forms: Name, email, and message (and any other fields you fill in) when you use the contact form, seminar signup, card-contact form, or similar forms on the site.
  • Meetings and scheduling: Name, email, and any details you enter when scheduling a call or meeting (e.g., via Cal.com or linked scheduling tools).

We do not collect sensitive categories of data (e.g., health, payment card details) through this site. Any payment or engagement details are handled in separate, agreed-upon processes (e.g., invoices, contracts) and are not covered in this web privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

Information you volunteer is used only for contact and the purpose you gave it for. No other action is taken with your information unless you explicitly agree.

  • Newsletters and content: To send you the emails or resources you signed up for (e.g., weekly tips, workbook, guides) and to manage your subscription (including unsubscribe requests).
  • Contact and meetings: To respond to inquiries, schedule and conduct calls or meetings, and follow up as relevant to your request.
  • Service improvement: We may use anonymized or aggregated site usage data (e.g., from analytics) to improve the site. We do not use your volunteered contact information for unrelated marketing or to build advertising profiles unless you agree.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email or other volunteered information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing beyond what you signed up for (e.g., the newsletter you subscribed to). We will not take any other action with your information without your consent.

To operate the site and deliver the services above, we use these third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy; we encourage you to review them.

  • Web3Forms: Contact and other form submissions are sent through Web3Forms so we can respond by email. Their privacy policy: web3forms.com/privacy

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (e.g., pages viewed, general location). This can use cookies and similar technologies. Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can use browser settings or tools like the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to limit tracking.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The site may set cookies or use similar technologies for analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), and possibly for basic site function (e.g., preferences). We do not use these to track you for advertising or to build profiles beyond what’s needed to run and improve the site. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the services you asked for (e.g., sending the newsletter until you unsubscribe, responding to and following up on inquiries and meetings). The site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., on the site or by email where appropriate).
