  • • Static sites (Hugo, Jekyll, 11ty) are fast, cheap, and secure

Why I Made This

Anyone can vibe code now. Tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor have made it possible for people without traditional coding experience to build real, functional software.

But here's the problem: people get stuck not because they can't code, but because they don't know what decisions they need to make.

"Should I use Firebase or Supabase? Do I need a database? What's the difference between localStorage and IndexedDB? Can this run on my computer or does it need to be hosted?"

These questions stop beginners in their tracks. They don't need to understand all the technical details—they just need to know which option fits their situation.

This guide asks you simple questions about who will use it, where they'll access it, and what it needs to do—then gives you specific recommendations and ready-to-use prompts.

It won't cover every edge case or complex scenario, but it works for most common projects: personal tools, small business apps, side projects, and MVPs.

My goal is simple: help you stop overthinking and start building.
